In 2024, we were first in the world to discovered that upgrade were possible and published the results on youtube.
A demand arose for SSD upgrades for the Mac mini m4 and m4 pro.
We came up with the idea of manufacturing our own custom SSDs. To do this, we needed to do some reverse engineering. So, we sacrificed a SSD module, removed all its small components one by one using a laser station, inventoried them and measured their characteristics, then we oil sanded every layer with fine-grained sandpaper and scanned every layer with a flatbed scanner.
We could then start making our own schematics from this work. But not only did we want to make Mac mini m4 upgrades possible, we also wanted to customize the SSD modules.
The Custom ssd for mac mini M4 works in mac mini M4 only now,(M4 pro is not ready,please wait) . It is available in 3 versions for mac mini M4 :
- blank board, for enthusiasts or repair shops
- 1TB card, ready-to-use, for end users
- 2TB cards, ready-to-use, for end users
MINI SSD for mac mini m4 is manufactured with the same SanDisk and TOSHIBA TLC NANDs as the original Mac mini SSDs, offering exceptional speed and durability.
With a particular focus on long-term reliability, we offer a 1-year warranty on our SSDs.

Timeline:
We plan to send out the ssd from the begin of January 2025, so payment buyer will start receiving them in January 2025.
All mac mini m4 ssd will be shipped via UPS with tracking(ship to the address you filled in when placing the order on this website), and we have take care of taxes and customs.
